Installation and updates
Installing, updating and removing JustNow Backups, Pro and the add-ons.
Requirements

Installing the free plugin
- Download JustNow Backups (
justnow-backups.zip). Do not unzip it. - In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the zip file and click Install Now.
- Click Activate. JustNow Backups appears in the left menu.
Installing Pro and add-ons
- Request Pro access. Once approved, your license key and a link to your download page arrive by email (details: Pro access and license).
- Download JustNow Backups Pro from your download page and install it like the free plugin. Keep the free JustNow Backups plugin installed.
- Open JustNow Backups → License, paste your key and click Activate.
- If Scheduler or Remote Storage is included in your license, download them from the download page or with Download package on the License → Add-ons card, and install them. Add-ons appear under the JustNow Backups menu.
If an add-on is not included in your license, its page shows: “Your Pro license is active, but this add-on must be included in your license to use it.” If it was just added to your license, click Refresh license on that page.
Updates
New versions of Pro and the add-ons appear on the normal WordPress update screen (Dashboard → Updates or Plugins). Updates require a valid license; security updates are available to unlicensed sites too. Check now on the License tab checks for a new version right away.
For the free JustNow Backups and PageDrop, download the new version and install it on the Upload Plugin screen with Replace current with uploaded; your settings and backups are kept.
Language
The interface is available in Turkish and English. Use the TR | EN switch at the top right of the screen. By default the WordPress site language is used.
Sharing installation info
The free plugin does not connect to any external server unless you agree. On first use it asks whether you want to share your site's domain, plugin/WordPress/PHP version and language. If you click Share, this is sent once a day; email addresses, user data and site content are never sent. You can change your choice any time on the Pro & info tab; when you turn it off your record is deleted from the server.
Pro license checks are separate and run only while Pro is installed.
Removal
Deactivate and delete the plugin on the Plugins page. If you will use the Pro license on another site, click License → Remove license first (moving a license).
wp-content/jn-backups-…. Delete that folder over FTP if you no longer need them.
